Also, if you were truthful in your selling, you would have already posted the price. So, when the person who replies to your ad asks to "know the price" for your "item you have for sale", that should have sent you all sorts of signals. If I were a legitimate buyer, I'm taking no chances of miscommunication. First, I state exactly the item to which I am replying, just in case you have other things listed; that is so that you have no question as to which item I am inquiring. Waste not my time, nor yours. Second, if you stated a price, my first email, if I choose to talk about pricing, is to bargain with you -- not to idiotically ask you to repeat your ad which I have already looked at at least a couple of times. And if that and the subsequent emails did not send you enough flags, perhaps the ALL CAPS email should have been your final clue.
